Regal Entertainment has put rumors to rest, confirming that there is no bad blood between the production company and GMA Network regarding the upcoming broadcast of its 2022 family drama series, “Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune,” on rival network TV5.
Speaking with the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), Regal Entertainment Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Roselle Monteverde revealed that the Kapuso Network gave its blessing before they finalized the deal with the Kapatid Network.
“Walang isyu,” Roselle said. “Alam ng GMA-7 yan. Nung nagpakita ng interes ang TV5, siyempre nagpaalam muna ako sa GMA-7. Sumusunod naman ako sa ganyan. Ayoko ng problema.”
The television series, which first premiered on GMA Network in 2022, is scheduled to make its comeback on its new channel, TV5, starting Monday, June 29, at 3:15 p.m.
