TRAFFIC ADJUSTMENTS AT NAIA TERMINAL 3 START JULY 15

Airport authorities have announced temporary late-night traffic modifications at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 starting July 15, as major upgrades begin on the departure area.

According to an advisory released on Sunday, July 12, the adjusted traffic rules will run until August 14. The scheduled disruptions will facilitate the rehabilitation of the terminal’s departure curbside and the installation of a new canopy aimed at shielding passengers from severe weather conditions.

The temporary traffic scheme will be strictly implemented every night from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. for the duration of the one-month project.

To mitigate heavy congestion during peak construction hours, airport management advised that motorists may drop off departing travelers at Arrival Bays 1 and 8. Passengers routed to the arrival level can easily access the Terminal 3 check-in counters using nearby elevators.

Terminal management assured the public that directional signs will be installed and traffic marshals will be deployed across the area to assist motorists and passengers throughout the construction period.
