VIBE PLUS recently held a energetic event honoring Filipinos who achieve success in various aspects of life, from small personal triumphs to representing the country in sports and beauty pageants.
The event kicked off with live renditions of popular motivational OPM tracks—including “Posible,” “Atin Ang Mundo,” “Sige Lang,” and “Puso”—performed by VIBE Jocks alongside artists from GEN Vs and Star Worx Block 1.

Taking the stage for this week’s VIBE SPOT feature was Eat Bulaga host Carren Eistrup, who performed her newest track, “Kolorette.” She explained that she penned the song last year as a tribute to her friends, who add color to her life by staying by her side.Eistrup noted her goal was to create a track that listeners would not tire of, believing that written music should aim to be timeless.
Classic OPM icon Joey Albert delivered an OG experience comeback, treating the audience to hits like “I Remember The Boy” and “Iisa Pa Lamang.” She also performed a duet of “Tell Me” with VIBE JOCK Dylan, who expressed that it was a privilege to share the stage with her.

Albert shared her joy at performing on the VIBE platform and her excitement about connecting with a younger audience. She also promoted her upcoming concert, “Fortyfied: The Repeat,” scheduled for July 30.
The MAIN VIBE segment showcased three notable OPM acts:
- 3rd Place: KAHEL performed their track “Tinapay,” which honors family breadwinners who persevere through challenges.
- 2nd Place: Zambales-based band Aw’te Amakeh claimed second with “Dulo.” The band highlighted their pride in representing Zambales and its rich Aeta heritage, using their music to stay grounded in their roots.
- Top Spot: Mei Mei took the championship position with their debut track “Telebong (Hello Po).” The group emphasized the significance of blending Filipino culture into music for global audiences, while members also opened up about their diverse backgrounds in Hong Kong and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Prior to the main event finale, Eistrup joined VIBE JOCKS Ana and Gigi to perform Moonstar88’s iconic hit, “Torete.”

Moonstar88 then took over the LEGIT VIBE stage to present their latest single, “Kape Tayo.” Reflecting on their success, the band credited their fan base—dubbed the “Moonstareros”—and drawing inspiration from real-life experiences as their formula for crafting enduring OPM hits. They closed out the show with a performance of their classic hit “Migraine” at MVP Studios.

Voting for MAIN VIBE OPM and P-POP acts remains open until July 23 at 11:59 AM, alongside ongoing requests for legacy OPM icons.
VIBE broadcasts daily via TV5, One PH, Kapatid Channel, and online streaming platforms.
