Listeners of Mega Manila’s flagship FM station, Love Radio 90.7 MHz, were caught by surprise as the station unexpectedly shifted to a “full automation” mode starting Monday, August 3.
The abrupt transition followed cryptic social media posts from prominent station personalities—including Nicole Hyala, Raqi Terra, Tanya Chinita, and Diego Bandido—who shared messages expressing gratitude to their supporters.
At present, the station is broadcasting continuous music without live disk jockeys. Popular radio segments such as “Feel Good Morneeeng,” “Chini-Talks,” “Raqi’s Secret Files,” and “Dear Love” were last heard on air on Friday, July 31.
Neither the management of Love Radio nor its parent company, Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC), has issued an official statement regarding the current operational status of the station.
