Could the iconic “Bahay ni Kuya” soon reopen its doors?
Speculation over the possible return of ABS-CBN’s reality competition “Pinoy Big Brother” has intensified after the program released a series of teasers on social media.
Several posts from the show appeared to hint at an upcoming third season of its partnership between ABS-CBN and GMA Network, although no official premiere date has been announced.
It also remains unclear when auditions will begin for aspiring housemates hoping to enter Kuya’s house.
In an earlier social media post, ABS-CBN Head of TV Production and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi clarified that, unlike the first two seasons produced through the ABS-CBN-GMA collaboration, the upcoming edition would feature regular housemates, or ordinary applicants who go through auditions.
The development comes after the demolition of the iconic “Pinoy Big Brother” house that had served as the show’s home for more than two decades.
The original house was taken down following ABS-CBN Corporation’s sale of portions of its property to the Ayala group. The location of the replacement house for the possible new season has yet to be disclosed.
