President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has designated 10 new special non-working days across various municipalities and cities in August and September, enabling local communities to celebrate their respective charter anniversaries and cultural festivals.
Official Gazette publications confirm the declarations were made so residents could fully participate in the local festivities.
“It is but fitting and proper that the people be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration,” the proclamations stated.
