Manila’s Finest, an entry in the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival co-produced by MQuest Ventures, Cignal, and Spring Films, has earned four nominations at the 49th Gawad Urian.
The period crime drama scored a nomination for Best Musical Score for the work of Emerzon Texon and Fred Sandoval. Director Raymond Red earned a nod for Best Cinematography, while Digo Ricio was recognized in the Best Production Design category.
Actors Enrique Gil and Rico Blanco also garnered nominations, competing in the Best Supporting Actor category.
The critical acclaim follows the film’s earlier inclusion on the Film Development Council of the Philippines’ shortlist for the country’s official submission to the 2027 Academy Awards.
Manila’s Finest is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
