VIVA FILMS RELEASES TEASER FOR “PEE MAK PH” AS FANS ASK FOR PLAYDATE RECONSIDERATION

VIVA Films has unveiled the teaser trailer for “Pee Mak PH,” its upcoming adaptation of the 2013 Thai horror romantic-comedy film “Pee Mak.”

The movie stars Wilbert Ross and Bea Binene, collectively known by fans as “WilBea.” The two first gained attention as a love team in Book 4 of the University series, “Golden Scenery of Tomorrow,” in 2025.

Directed by Victor Villanueva, the film also features Vandolph Quizon, Jairus Aquino, TJ Valderrama, and Gian Bernardino of the OPM band Cup of Joe.

“Pee Mak PH” follows Mak as he returns from war with his four eccentric friends, unaware that his beloved wife died while giving birth and is now living with him as a ghost.

FANS ASK VIVA FILMS TO RECONSIDER RELEASE DATE

The official fan group supporting Wilbert Ross and Bea Binene has appealed to VIVA Entertainment to allow the film more time before its theatrical release.

In a two-page open letter shared on Facebook, WilBea OFC, WilBea Official expressed concerns about what it described as a shortened production and promotional period and urged the studio to reconsider the film’s scheduled October 14 playdate.

The group accompanied its post with the statement:

“PEE MAK PH DESERVES BETTER. WILBEA, WALANG IBA.”

In the letter, WilBea Official explained its request for additional preparation time:

“We are asking for more time because we believe PeeMak PH deserves the chance to become the film it was envisioned to be.”

VIVA Films has yet to issue a response to the appeal, while the movie’s October 14 release date remains unchanged.
