Cignal TV has officially announced the launch of NCAA NXT, a dedicated 24/7 sports channel set to serve as the exclusive broadcast home for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) starting this September 2026.
The launch comes as part of Cignal TV’s broadcast partnership with the league, covering both NCAA Season 102 and Season 103.
NCAA NXT will deliver round-the-clock coverage dedicated to Philippine collegiate athletics, featuring live broadcasts of flagship league events including Seniors Basketball, Women’s Volleyball, and the annual Cheerdance Competition. In addition to live game action, the network’s slate includes athlete spotlights, behind-the-scenes documentaries, feature stories, and archival broadcasts of historic NCAA matches.
While NCAA NXT serves as the primary pay-TV hub on cable and satellite, select primetime basketball games every Monday and Thursday will also air on free TV via RPTV. Fans can additionally stream games digitally through One Sports’ YouTube channel and the Cignal Play mobile app.
The network launch coincides with the official opening of NCAA Season 102 on September 13, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Hosted by San Beda University under the theme “Strive. Believe. Unite.,” the new season marks a fresh chapter for the country’s oldest collegiate league.
MediaQuest Holdings Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan welcomed the league to its new broadcast partner, stating, “We welcome you to your new home. Here in Cignal, we are sports.”
NCAA official Rev. Fr. Aloysius Maranan, OSB, noted that the collaboration will “strengthen Philippine sports,” while MediaQuest Trustee Ricky Vargas emphasized that the broadcast partnership aims to “elevate Philippine sports to new heights.”
