Filipino folk-pop band Ben&Ben is marking its ninth year in the music industry with a new anthology album titled “Nine,” scheduled for release on September 24.
The nine-member group announced the upcoming project on social media Wednesday, September 9, while also sharing its official album artwork.
“‘Nine’ An Anthology Album for the first nine years,” the band wrote in its announcement.
The album is now available for pre-save, allowing listeners to add it to their music libraries ahead of its official release.
The cover features all nine members gathered in a rocky outdoor location, with colorful square designs covering their faces. The album title, “Nine,” appears prominently across the upper portion of the artwork.
Ben&Ben has yet to disclose the full tracklist or identify the songs that will make up the anthology.
The project comes after the band recently began releasing “Reimagined” renditions of tracks from its earlier catalog, including “Lifetime” and “Leaves.” It has not yet been confirmed whether any of these revamped recordings will be included in “Nine.”
Ben&Ben began with twin brothers Paolo Benjamin and Miguel Benjamin Guico, who initially performed under the name The Benjamins before the act evolved into the nine-member group known today.
The band released its first studio album, “Limasawa Street,” in 2019. The record featured several of the group’s well-known songs, including “Pagtingin,” “Araw-Araw,” “Leaves,” and “Kathang Isip.”
With “Nine,” Ben&Ben is set to look back on its musical journey while celebrating nearly a decade since its formation.
