MANILA, Philippines — The Pag-IBIG Fund has joined forces with real estate developer Filinvest Land Inc. to grant its members access to more budget-friendly homeownership opportunities featuring special discounts and flexible loan terms.
Through this strategic tie-up, eligible Pag-IBIG members can secure discounted prices on selected housing units across accredited Filinvest residential developments nationwide.
Borrowers can leverage Pag-IBIG’s expanded housing loan limit of up to ₱10 million. Under the government’s Expanded 4PH program, qualified socialized housing applicants can benefit from a subsidized interest rate of 3% per annum.
Meanwhile, other eligible members can access promotional annual interest rates set at 4.5% for loans up to ₱4.9 million, and 5.75% for loan amounts ranging between ₱4.9 million and ₱10 million.
“With Filinvest Land as our partner, we can bring together affordable Pag-IBIG financing and quality homes at better prices for our members,” Pag-IBIG Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta said.
This alliance expands Pag-IBIG Fund’s ongoing initiatives to collaborate with leading private sector developers, joining earlier agreements established with Amaia, Avida, and SM Development Corporation (SMDC).
Pag-IBIG Fund Chairperson Jose Ramon Aliling highlighted that working alongside prominent property firms broadens the selection of quality, affordable housing choices available to the Filipino workforce.
“With more reputable companies now partnering with Pag-IBIG Fund, Filipino workers will have more housing choices supported by affordable financing and better opportunities to own a home,” Aliling stated.
