TAGUIG CITY, Philippines — The Pasay City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) was honored as the top local government unit for its implementation of the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program during the 2026 DOLE-NCR Kabuhayan Awards on Wednesday, September 23.
The recognition was conferred by the Department of Labor and Employment-National Capital Region (DOLE-NCR) at the Novel Hotel in Taguig City, acknowledging the city’s efforts to provide sustainable livelihood assistance to eligible Pasay residents.
The award certificate was signed by DOLE-NCR Regional Director Atty. Roy Buenafe.
To execute the initiative, PESO Pasay partnered with the DOLE Makati-Pasay Field Office to supply qualified beneficiaries with resources aimed at starting or expanding income-generating projects.
The ceremony highlighted achievements under this year’s official theme “Kabuhayang Matatag, Mamamayang Umaangat: Sama-samang Pagkilos Tungo sa Bagong Pilipinas.”
