CRUNCHYROLL LAUNCHES DEDICATED ‘FILIPINO DUBS’ CONTENT HUB IN THE PHILIPPINES

Global anime streaming platform Crunchyroll has officially launched a dedicated “Filipino Dubs Now on Crunchyroll” content hub, providing subscribers in the Philippines with streamlined access to a growing catalog of Tagalog-dubbed anime and donghua titles.

The newly introduced section consolidates both weekly same-day simuldubs and fully localized full-season audio tracks into a single curated row on the platform’s main browse screen. Among the headline titles leading the collection is the VR gaming adventure Overgeared, which receives weekly Tagalog-dubbed episodes following protagonist Shin Youngwoo, known in-game as “Grid,” as he navigates the virtual world of Satisfy. Joining the simuldub roster is the action-packed Fire Force Season 3, bringing Shinra Kusakabe and Special Fire Force Company 8 back with native Filipino audio tracks.

The hub also showcases full-season localized catalogs across various genres, including dark fantasy, isekai, and slice-of-life. Viewers can access Tagalog dubs for the dark fantasy series Tower of God, detailing Bam and Khun’s perilous journey up the mysterious Tower, as well as the Victorian-steampunk donghua Lord of Mysteries, centered on Klein Moretti and the Tarot Club. Additional localized offerings include the kingdom-building fantasy Release That Witch, the isekai comedy Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon, and the slice-of-life dungeon fantasy An Adventurer’s Daily Grind at Age 29.

To access the expanding catalog, Philippine subscribers can navigate directly to the “Filipino Dubs Now on Crunchyroll” hub on the main home screen across both the Crunchyroll website and mobile applications. Alternatively, users watching any supported title can enable native voiceovers through the video player interface by clicking the Settings gear icon and selecting “Filipino” under the Audio menu options.

The dedicated hub rollout highlights Crunchyroll’s ongoing expansion strategy across Southeast Asia, aiming to enhance accessibility for local audiences through same-day simuldubs and native-language script adaptations. By expanding its roster of Tagalog-dubbed broadcasts alongside global simulcasts, the platform continues to reinforce its localized content footprint for Filipino anime enthusiasts.
