President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. visited the tomb of his late father and namesake at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City on Sunday to observe the annual Undas tradition.
Accompanied by former First Lady Imelda Marcos and his sister, Irene Marcos, the President marked All Saints’ Day by reflecting on the enduring bonds of family and shared values.
”Though they are no longer with us, the memories we shared and the values they taught us continue to bring our families closer together,” he said in a social media post.
In addition to visiting his father’s resting place, President Marcos also extended gestures of remembrance across historical political divides.
He sent floral tributes to the tombs of former political rivals—former Presidents Corazon Aquino and Noynoy Aquino, as well as former Senator Ninoy Aquino—at the Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque City.

Reflecting on the solemn occasion, the President encouraged the public to channel their remembrance into acts of compassion for the living.
”Let us honor those who have passed not only through our prayers, but also through the way we care for those who remain. May these solemn days bring peace to those who mourn and remind us to cherish the people we hold dear,” he added.
