GARENA FREE FIRE WINS ‘BEST USE OF IP’ AT POCKET GAMER MOBILE GAMES AWARDS 2026 FOR NARUTO SHIPPUDEN CROSSOVER

Garena Free Fire has been awarded “Best Use of IP or Licence” at the Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards 2026 in Cologne, Germany, recognized for its NARUTO SHIPPUDEN Chapter 2: Ninja War global crossover campaign.

The campaign brought an immersive experience to players by introducing a fully transformed Hidden Leaf Village within the game, enabling users to execute iconic jutsu and ninja abilities.

Beyond in-game content, the collaboration achieved massive engagement across esports and social media platforms. The Ninja Clash All Stars tournament held in Bangkok brought in nearly 5,000 in-person attendees, generated over 247 million video views, and trended on YouTube Gaming across six regions. Meanwhile, user-generated and official crossover content accumulated more than 3 billion views on TikTok.

Reflecting on the achievement, Free Fire Global Producer Harold Teo highlighted the developer’s approach to major franchise partnerships. “With every collaboration, our teams start by understanding what makes each IP special and design experiences that feel natural to Free Fire while staying authentic to the IP,” Teo said.

Developed and published by Garena, Free Fire continues to serve over 100 million daily active players and stands as one of the most downloaded mobile games globally.
