MANILA, Philippines — Following the historic box-office success of their 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Rewind” and their upcoming drama reunion in “Remember,” Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes has revealed he is completely open to teaming up with his wife, Marian Rivera, for a third cinematic venture.
When asked if he welcomes more frequent onscreen collaborations with Marian, Dingdong responded with unreserved enthusiasm.
“Any opportunity that I can get to work with her, sobrang gusto ko ’yan, kahit ano pa ’yan,” Dingdong said with a smile.
The actor noted that while they did not initially plan to headline another high-caliber project so soon after “Rewind,” he considers himself fortunate that “Remember” came to fruition.
“I’m just really grateful that it became possible. If there will be another one, eh ’di yes. Why not? Of course!” he added.
Although another collaborative film has not yet been formally scheduled, the actor remains fully willing to share the silver screen with his wife whenever the right opportunity arises.
In their upcoming film “Remember,” Dingdong and Marian portray an estranged couple compelled to pretend they are still together for the sake of their daughter, who is gradually losing her memory.
Directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar and filmed against the scenic backdrop of Quebec, Canada, the movie explores poignant themes of family, second chances, and enduring love.
A powerhouse joint production by ABS-CBN Star Cinema, AgostoDos Pictures, APT Entertainment, and Regal Entertainment, “Remember” is slated to hit Philippine theaters on November 11.
