Former screen partners and off-screen couple Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto are set to share the big screen once again in an upcoming feature film titled “Always Yours, Never Mine.”
Star Cinema, the film production unit of ABS-CBN, officially confirmed the project through a social media post on Wednesday evening, unveiling a screen test featuring Garcia and Barretto.
Directed by veteran filmmaker Cathy Garcia-Sampana, “Always Yours, Never Mine” is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release on September 30.
The romantic drama follows the duo’s previous cinematic collaboration, “Un/Happy for You,” which screened in 2024.
Popularly dubbed as the “JoshLia” love team, the pair first joined forces in 2016 for the romantic comedy “Vince and Kath and James”.
Over the years, they established a prominent partnership starring in a string of projects, including “Love You to the Stars and Back” in 2017, “Unexpectedly Yours,” “I Love You, Hater,” and the action-zombie feature “Block Z.”
