Sofi Fermazi, an up-and-coming singer signed under ABS-CBN’s Star Music, sparked widespread excitement on Wednesday, July 1, when she shared details of an event where the comedy icons would reportedly unveil their joint project.
According to her post, she was slated to perform at the official movie announcement scheduled for July 5.
“Hello my dear Softies, I’ll be performing as the Special Guest Artist at Vice Ganda and Vic Sotto’s New Movie Announcement on July 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Gateway 2 Mall Quantum Area. See you all!” read the now-deleted post.
Though the update was paired with a promotional art card, it was abruptly scrubbed from her profile shortly after publication. However, eagle-eyed netizens managed to grab screenshots, which have since gone viral across various entertainment pages.
Speculation about a massive collaboration between the two industry giants has been brewing for months, with fans heavily tipping the project for a spot in the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
As of this writing, neither Vice Ganda nor Vic Sotto has released an official statement to confirm the joint venture.
