First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos has lauded the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) for its long-standing assistance to Filipino families, highlighting its crucial partnership with her flagship healthcare initiative, LAB for ALL.
In a social media post commemorating the agency’s 92nd anniversary on Friday, October 30, Araneta-Marcos expressed gratitude to the PCSO for helping expand the medical mission’s reach to vulnerable communities.
”My husband even joked that I was one of PCSO’s biggest ‘beneficiaries’ because of all the support they’ve given LAB for ALL! And I must admit, he has a point!”
”Through their generosity, we’ve been able to help so many more of our kababayans,” she added.
During the anniversary celebration held at the Foro de Intramuros in Manila, the First Lady extended her congratulations to the event’s awardees and honorees.
She also praised the dedication of PCSO General Manager Mel Robles and the agency’s entire workforce.
“My heartfelt thanks to GM Mel Robles and the entire PCSO family for the compassion and dedication you bring to your work,” she stated, describing the organization as “a source of hope and comfort” for citizens navigating financial and medical hardships.
LAB for ALL (Laboratoryo, Konsulta, at Gamot Para sa Lahat) brings essential healthcare directly to underserved regions by offering free medical consultations, diagnostics, laboratory tests, and medicines. The mobile outreach relies on collaborative efforts between local government units, private entities, and national agencies, with the PCSO playing a key role in providing medical and financial aid.
Araneta-Marcos closed her message by wishing the institution continued success in its public service mission.
”Happy 92nd Anniversary, PCSO!”
”May you continue to be a blessing to Filipino families for many more years to come.”
