PBBM VOWS UNINTERRUPTED PUBLIC SERVICE AMID ENERGY CRISIS

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has issued a firm guarantee to the Filipino people that the current energy crisis will not impede the functions of the national government.

In a statement released via his Sunday vlog, the President emphasized that the delivery of essential public services must remain steadfast despite the economic pressure caused by rising global fuel costs.

The Chief Executive made it clear that the administration remains fully operational, asserting that challenges should not be an excuse for governance to come to a standstill.

“Hindi natin hahayaang maparalisa ang serbisyong binibigay ng gobyerno,” Marcos noted that critical sectors—including healthcare, education, infrastructure, and law enforcement—will continue their activities without interruption.

Furthermore, he highlighted that the government’s agenda includes the continued support of sports, culture, arts, and tourism, which he described as essential pillars of national progress that must not be neglected during times of economic strain.

As evidence of this continued momentum, the President pointed to the progress of the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program.

This flagship housing initiative serves as a benchmark for the administration’s ability to maintain long-term goals while managing immediate crises.

The President recently conducted an inspection of a major township development in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija. The project features:

  • Total Area: 23 hectares of land.
  • Capacity: Designed to house over 22,000 families.
  • Infrastructure: Completed residential units and shared community amenities.

By showcasing the occupancy of these new housing units, Marcos reinforced his message that the government is moving forward “on all fronts.”

The administration remains committed to addressing the national housing backlog while ensuring that the broader machinery of the state continues to serve the public effectively amidst global instability.
