PHLPOST RELEASES COMMEMORATIVE STAMPS FOR SUPREME COURT’S 125TH ANNIVERSARY

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has launched a special collection of commemorative stamps and an official first-day cover to mark the 125th anniversary of the Supreme Court of the Philippines.

According to a PHLPost statement released on Thursday, the commemorative stamps feature a design concept developed by Rancho Arcilla, a cultural worker, archivist, and architectural historian from the Supreme Court’s Office of the Spokesperson.

The final layout was executed by PHLPost graphic artist Jose Antonio Jayme.

The judiciary emphasized that the special stamp issue symbolizes its long-standing commitment to the country’s legal and democratic foundations.

”…the commemorative issue serves as a lasting symbol of the judiciary’s enduring role in safeguarding democracy, protecting constitutional rights, and upholding the principles that have guided the nation for generations.”

The commemorative stamps and first-day covers are now available to the general public, historical enthusiasts, and stamp collectors.

Members of the public can purchase the items at the Post Shop inside the Manila Central Post Office Compound at Liwasang Bonifacio, Magallanes Drive, Ermita. They are also being sold at the Supreme Court Gift Shop, located inside the high tribunal’s Main Building on Padre Faura Street, Ermita, Manila.
