Rival universities Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) and De La Salle University (DLSU) are set to sign a five-year agreement on November 19 to advance social entrepreneurship and sustainable development in higher education.
The collaboration brings together the Ateneo Center for Social Entrepreneurship (ACSEnt) and the Lasallian Social Enterprise for Economic Development (LSEED). The initiative aims to weave social entrepreneurship directly into academic curricula, research frameworks, and student formation programs.
Following their initial partnership launched in 2023—which yielded collaborative projects like The Collective Good initiative, SE Talks, and Social Enterprise Profiling—the renewed agreement will focus on mobilizing internal and external stakeholders to share best practices and promote sustainable enterprise.
