ROCKWELL LAND AND PAG-IBIG TEAM UP TO EXPAND HOUSING ACCESS FOR FILIPINOS

MAKATI CITY — High-end property developer Rockwell Land Corporation has forged a strategic partnership with the Pag-IBIG Fund to widen homeownership opportunities across various market segments, offering accessible financing options for Filipino workers and their families.

The collaboration was officially sealed through a memorandum of understanding signed on October 13 in Makati City. The event drew key figures including Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta, Rockwell President and Chief Operating Officer Valerie Soliven, Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary and Pag-IBIG Fund Board Chairman Jose Ramon Aliling, DHSUD Senior Undersecretary Eduardo Robles Jr., Rockwell Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Nestor Padilla, and Pag-IBIG Fund Deputy Chief Executive Officer Alexander Hilario Aguilar, alongside other agency officials.

This alliance comes just ahead of the 2nd National Housing Expo, set for October 19 and 20 at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City. Rockwell is slated to join over 80 developers at the exposition, which seeks to link prospective buyers with diverse housing choices under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (Expanded 4PH) Program.

Aliling noted that the increasing participation of major real estate firms reflects deep trust in the government’s housing roadmap.

“More of the country’s leading developers are joining our housing efforts because they see the clear direction set by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and the progress we are making under Expanded 4PH. They recognize that by working with DHSUD and Pag-IBIG Fund, we can help more Filipino workers afford quality homes while creating greater opportunities for the housing industry. Rockwell’s participation reflects this growing confidence and shared commitment,” Aliling said.

While traditionally known for luxury properties, Rockwell is introducing more accessible residential options through this partnership. The initial agreement covers government-accredited developments such as Stonewell Acacia Homes and Stonewell Mahogany Homes in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.

Additionally, two Lipa, Batangas projects—Stonewell Molave Homes, with units starting at ₱950,000, and the upscale Terreno South gated community with lots priced from ₱4 million to ₱7 million—are currently processing accreditation.

Rockwell is also seeking accreditation for Anahaw Homes in San Antonio, Quezon Province, where completed units start at ₱2 million, as well as several high-end projects including The Grove in Pasig, The Arton in Quezon City, Fordham and Larsen Towers in Muntinlupa, and BenCab in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Under the agreement, Rockwell will feature accredited properties and ready-for-occupancy units with preferential pricing and special perks for qualified Pag-IBIG members. Meanwhile, the state fund will deliver financing packages, loan counseling, and guidance.

Soliven expressed enthusiasm about bringing the brand to a broader audience.

“We’re grateful to Pag-IBIG Fund for this partnership and the opportunity to bring the Rockwell experience to more Filipinos. We’ve spent more than 30 years creating homes, and we look forward to making that experience accessible to more families through this collaboration. We are excited to meet them at the National Housing Expo,” Soliven stated.

Acosta echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the collaboration bridges aspirations across different budgets.

“For many of our members, owning a Rockwell home is an aspiration. What makes this partnership especially meaningful is that Rockwell is bringing forward choices for different budgets, from affordable homes to premium residences. By combining these options with our affordable housing financing, we want to help more Filipino workers find a quality home that matches both their aspirations and their financial capacity,” Acosta noted.

She pointed out that Pag-IBIG offers housing loans of up to ₱10 million, paired with promotional fixed interest rates of 4.5% for loans up to ₱4.9 million and 5.75% for loans ranging up to ₱10 million for the first three years, available until December 31, 2026.

Acosta also encouraged families to attend the upcoming expo for on-site loan processing and exclusive deals.

“Whether our members are looking for their first home or a home that better suits their growing needs and aspirations, we want them to know that Pag-IBIG Fund is here to help. At the 2nd National Housing Expo, they can explore thousands of available homes, discover special offers and receive assistance from us, their Lingkod Pag-IBIG. We encourage every Filipino family planning to own a home to come and see the opportunities available to them,” she added.
