ABS-CBN AND TV5 EXPAND WEEKEND ENTERTAINMENT WITH VIBE+ AND ASAP XP

MANILA, Philippines — ABS-CBN Studios and TV5 are strengthening their weekend entertainment offerings with the arrival of TV5 Entertainment’s music program Vibe+ on additional viewing platforms beginning October 24, alongside the expanded reach of ASAP XP through a co-production partnership between the two networks.

The move aims to bring more Filipino viewers closer to their favorite artists and musical performances through free-to-air television and digital streaming services.

Vibe+ is TV5’s music variety program featuring contemporary artists, classic Original Pilipino Music (OPM) favorites, and international hits. Its programming highlights live musical performances and a celebration of Filipino music, offering audiences a mix of familiar favorites and newer sounds. The show has also received recognition with a nomination in the Best Music Programme category at the 31st Asian Television Awards.

Beginning Saturday, October 24, Vibe+ will air at 6 p.m. on TV5 and selected Kapamilya platforms, with a replay scheduled for Sundays at 12 noon, giving music fans another opportunity to enjoy the program over the weekend.

Meanwhile, ASAP XP marks a significant development in the partnership between ABS-CBN Studios and TV5, following their formal co-production agreement announced on October 11. The collaboration brings together the two networks’ artists and production resources for the long-running musical variety show, broadening its audience and creating opportunities for more onstage collaborations.

The program combines live concert-style performances, dance showcases, vocal competitions, and special appearances from established stars and emerging performers. Alongside Kapamilya favorites, artists from TV5’s STAR WORX talent roster are joining the lineup, bringing together performers from both entertainment networks.

Under its expanded schedule, ASAP XP airs every Sunday from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., offering viewers a longer evening of music, dance, and entertainment. Its simulcast on TV5 began October 18 as part of the new partnership.

Both programs will be available through their designated television and digital outlets, including TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live on Facebook and YouTube, iWant, and ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2.

With Vibe+ adding more music-focused programming to Saturdays and ASAP XP bringing together Kapamilya and Kapatid artists on Sunday evenings, ABS-CBN Studios and TV5 are expanding viewing choices for Filipino audiences and reinforcing their collaboration in local entertainment.

The initiatives underscore the networks’ shared efforts to make music and variety programming accessible to a wider audience across traditional television and digital platforms.
