Actress and content creator Alex Gonzaga has given birth to a baby boy, her mother Pinty Gonzaga confirmed in a report published Thursday, August 27, by Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP). Specific details regarding the newborn’s date of birth have not yet been made public.
Gonzaga and her husband, Lipa City Vice Mayor Mikee Morada, first shared their pregnancy news in May, approaching six years after getting married.
The announcement came after the couple endured three previous pregnancy losses, with Gonzaga conceiving naturally just as they were preparing to begin in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments.
Reflecting on their journey to parenthood during her initial announcement, Gonzaga shared their reliance on faith:
“After almost 6 years of marriage and 3 heartbreaking losses, we never lost faith and continued to surrender everything to the Lord,” she posted.
