Actress Althea Ablan has officially signed with VIVA Artists Agency, ending her years-long run as an exclusive talent of GMA Network.
VIVA Entertainment, founded by media tycoon Vic del Rosario Jr., announced the career transition across its official social media platforms.
Ablan, widely recognized for her roles in hit Kapuso television series such as Prima Donnas and AraBella, joins fellow former GMA actresses Bea Binene and Rita Daniela on VIVA’s talent roster.
Concurrently, GMA Sparkle actor David Licauco signed a movie contract with VIVA Films through a partnership involving GMA Sparkle and ALV Talent Agency.
The dual developments highlight the growing ties between VIVA and GMA Network, which have recently collaborated on the record label GMV Studios and co-produced the Viu Philippines romantic drama Love Siargao, starring Alden Richards and Nadine Lustre.
