As the countdown to “Love Like Ashtine” continues, Ashtine Olviga is proving that her musical journey deserves as much attention as her growing reputation as an actress.
The singer-actress is set to headline her first solo concert on August 22, at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City, marking a major milestone in her career. The concert follows the release of her debut six-track EP, Love Like Ashtine, which arrived on August 7 under Viva Records.

The EP features “Hinga,” “Nasaan Ka Na?,” “This Way,” “Dito Lang Tayo,” “enno,” and “Love Like U,” giving audiences a fuller introduction to Olviga’s identity as a solo recording artist.
Her current music chapter began with “Love Like U,” released in April. The song was followed by a music video in May that showcased her youthful performance style and incorporated choreography, further establishing her presence beyond acting.

But Olviga’s connection with music goes back much further. Before becoming widely known for her acting, she had already experienced life as a performer through P-pop groups, including LITZ. Her return to music as a solo artist therefore represents a continuation of a path she began years ago rather than an entirely new direction.

Her musical comeback has also received recognition. In March, she won the People’s Choice Award at Billboard Philippines’ Women in Music 2026, an honor determined by fan votes.

Adding to the excitement surrounding the concert, Olviga recently made her return to the Wish Bus, four years after appearing on the mobile music platform as a member of LITZ. The performance forms part of her preparations for Love Like Ashtine.

The concert will also give Olviga the opportunity to perform the songs from her debut EP live for the first time. Special guests announced for the show include Krissha Viaje, Nicole Omillo, Aubrey Caraan, GAT, RAYA, Jastine Lim, Sara Joe, Bianca Santos, Yumi Garcia, and Fatima Anonuevo, with an additional surprise guest also teased.
With her first solo concert approaching, Olviga is showing that her artistry cannot be confined to a single discipline. From P-pop stages to the recording studio and now to a concert stage bearing her own name, she is gradually turning years of experience into a distinct musical identity.
“Love Like Ashtine” is consequently more than a concert countdown—it is a celebration of the music that has accompanied Olviga’s journey and the emergence of an artist ready to claim her own space in the Philippine music scene.
