QUEZON CITY — Actress and television host Atasha Muhlach revealed that she has never been in a relationship, despite persistent rumors linking her to businessman Jacob Ang.
During her guest appearance on GMA Network’s afternoon talk show “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Monday, October 12, veteran host Boy Abunda directly asked Atasha if she had ever had a boyfriend, to which she answered clearly,
“No, I have not.”
The admission arrived amidst lingering public speculation regarding her ties to Jacob Ang, the son of San Miguel Corporation chief executive Ramon Ang. The pair previously drew attention after being spotted together at several gatherings, most notably at the May 2026 wedding reception of Jacob’s sister, Carmela Ang.
Photos shared by San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora featured Atasha seated next to Jacob, with one snapshot showing him with his arm around her shoulder.
Although Atasha acknowledged that she has suitors, she did not explicitly identify Jacob among them.
She emphasized that her main focus remains firmly on her professional endeavors, noting that she communicates this clearly to anyone attempting to court her.
“They all know that my priority really is work,” she said.
Despite prioritizing her career, the young actress remains open to romance and shared valuable relationship advice imparted by her parents, seasoned actors Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales.
“If it makes you happy, then it makes you happy. As long as they’re kind and as long as they have a good heart,” she recalled them advising.
Furthermore, Atasha expressed gratitude to her parents for keeping her grounded and teaching her essential industry principles, such as treating others with respect and maintaining good intentions.
“Because whatever it is, as long as you have a good heart, everything will be okay,” she concluded.
