Popular FM radio program “Barangay Love Stories” is transitioning from airwaves to television after GMA Network confirmed its upcoming TV adaptation.
In a recent teaser, the Kapuso network revealed plans to adapt the well-loved Barangay LS 97.1 show into a television series. Details regarding the exact premiere date and broadcast format have yet to be disclosed.
Hosted by Papa Dudut, “Barangay Love Stories” built a massive following by dramatizing real-life romance stories submitted by listeners.
The television version of the hit radio program is set to air on GMA-7 within the year.
