MANILA, Philippines — Actor Baron Geisler has signaled a hopeful chapter in his relationship with wife Jamie Marie Evangelista, sharing photos from a recent couples’ retreat focused on healing, forgiveness, and long-term commitment.
The social media post shared on October 16 follows months of heavy public speculation surrounding the couple’s marital status. Reflecting on their journey, Geisler addressed the realities of married life.
“Marriage is not always easy. There will be seasons of joy and seasons of challenges, moments of understanding and moments when we struggle to understand each other,” Geisler wrote.
He emphasized that love extends far beyond transient emotions, characterizing it as a daily choice to remain patient, listen attentively, forgive, and consistently show up for one’s partner.
According to the actor, the retreat served as a vital space to reset and realign.
“This retreat is an opportunity to pause, reconnect, heal where healing is needed, and remember the love and commitment that brought us together,” he stated.
He also sought divine guidance for their ongoing journey.
“May God continue to strengthen our marriage, restore what needs restoring, and teach us both to love each other with grace, humility, and understanding,” he added.
Concluding his message, Geisler underscored his dedication to their partnership, invoking Matthew 19:6: “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” He added, “Through thick and thin, may we continue choosing each other, walking together, and keeping God at the center of our marriage.”

In July, Evangelista left a candid comment on one of the actor’s Instagram posts urging him to seek professional guidance.
“Find a drug rehabilitation sponsor who can help you address the root cause of your problems. I doubt a facial can heal that,” she wrote, later posting a separate Instagram Story stating, “No one plays the victim better than the one who cause the damage.” Both posts were eventually removed.
Speculation intensified in September when eagle-eyed followers noticed the couple had temporarily unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Evangelista also shared a thread on September 5 questioning the propriety of a married employer sharing a bed with household staff, a post that sparked widespread online discussion before it was also deleted.
