Following the media frenzy surrounding her secret marriage to Vincent Co, actress Bea Alonzo has spoken publicly about the private ceremony for the first time.
During a recent interview, the multi-awarded actress shared her reasons for choosing a understated, highly personal celebration over a public spectacle.
”At that point I felt like I wanted [the event] to be mine, that’s it. I wanted it to be about us and no one else. It wasn’t supposed to be a surprise or pasabog; it wasn’t supposed to be like that. It felt like it was the right thing to do… the moment was ours,” Bea shared.
Alonzo clarified that keeping the nuptials private was never an attempt to hide the milestone from her supporters or the press. Instead, exchange vows in an intimate environment surrounded purely by their inner circle simply felt natural for the couple.
When asked about how married life has been since tying the knot, she responded with a laugh:
”Yung tirahan ko, iba na yung address ko. Syempre nag-move in na kami together, obviously. But right now, I’m on cloud nine, and I’m just happy to be where I am,” Bea said.
