Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte has maintained her stronghold as the top-performing local chief executive in Metro Manila, according to the latest assessment by research firm RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD).
The survey, which commenced on Tuesday, May 19, revealed that Belmonte secured the highest spot with an approval rating of 88.3%. Closely trailing her in second place is Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, who garnered a formidable 87.4% performance score.
Other Metro Manila mayors who demonstrated strong administrative performance and advanced in the rankings include Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco, Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian, Caloocan City Mayor Along Malapitan, Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, and Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso.
Completing the regional performance assessment are Mandaluyong City Mayor Menchie Abalos, Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon, Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano, Marikina City Mayor Maan Teodoro, Makati City Mayor and former Senator Nancy Binay, San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, Las Piñas City Mayor April Aguilar, Pateros Mayor Gerald German, and Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez.
