Young TV host Bimby Aquino has revealed his plans to give half of his very first adult paycheck to the Church, while using another portion to treat his mother, the iconic actress and television host Kris Aquino.
A video shared by a fan page on Saturday, July 4, captured the milestone moment as Bimby lined up to sign the payroll and receive his earnings in person.
“I’m claiming my first adult sweldo,” Bimby happily said in the video.
When questioned about how he would spend his first salary, Bimby did not hesitate to name his mother as his top priority.
“My mom, of course.”
He further shared that he and Kris are fulfilling a spiritual commitment by giving back a significant portion of his hard-earned money.
“And ang promise ni mama, to our priest, Father Jun, or sa Bishop now ata. So we’re going to donate half of it muna,” he said.
Bimby could not hide his delight upon realizing that his compensation was handed to him directly in paper bills.
“Wow, it’s cash. I like cash!” he said with a laugh.
The paycheck stems from his recent hosting appearances on the iconic noontime variety show “EAT… Bulaga!”, where he has been earning public praise for his natural broadcasting skills and lighthearted camaraderie with co-host Ryzza Mae Dizon.
