CALOOCAN CITY — The local government has opened its Oktoberfest 2026 festival at the C-Cube Complex, Caloocan City Hall-South, offering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) a platform to expand their market reach and boost earnings.
Mayor Along Malapitan spearheaded the opening ceremony on October 8 for the month-long event, which runs daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. until November 6. The bazaar features a wide array of stalls showcasing food, beverages, and other locally made goods.
A key focus of the festival is supporting program graduates from the Community-Assisted Rehabilitation and Research Outpatient Treatment and Training System (CARROTS), who previously received financial grants from the city to build independent livelihoods.
Beyond shopping attractions, visitors can enjoy nightly live entertainment starting at 6 p.m., featuring musical bands and stand-up comedians. The festival also provides free public perks, such as complimentary massage therapy from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and pet grooming services from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Caloocan City Economic and Investment Promotions Office (CEIPO) spearheaded the event coordination alongside several local departments, including the Public Employment Service Department (PESD), the Caloocan City Anti-Drug Abuse Office (CADAO), and the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO).
Mayor Malapitan has invited all residents to drop by the festival grounds to support hometown entrepreneurs and stimulate the local economy.
