Police Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano has been named officer-in-charge of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), the Philippine National Police (PNP) confirmed.
PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Allen Rae Co confirmed the leadership transition, which sees Abrahano succeeding Police Major General Anthony Aberin ahead of his retirement on August 23.
Prior to assuming the top post at the NCRPO, Abrahano served as director of the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).
His extensive leadership record within the police force also includes previous stints as regional director of the CARAGA Police Regional Office and chief of the PNP Aviation Security Group.
