Kapuso actress Glaiza de Castro delighted fans after officially announcing that she is expecting her first child with her husband, David Rainey.
The actress shared the milestone through an Instagram update, reflecting on the initial months of her journey into motherhood.
”Entering another chapter . So glad I’m through the first trimester because… GRABE PALA. Will share more about this soon,” Glaiza wrote.
As she prepares for her new role, Glaiza revealed that she has been actively seeking guidance from other mothers, finding comfort in hearing their personal experiences with first-time parenthood.
”It’s also been so nice and comforting talking to other women about this journey as a first-time mom. I need all the help I can get,” she shared.
Expressing her newfound admiration for mothers, she added:
”Basta masasabi ko lang, ibang klase talaga ang mga nanay ❤️”
Following her announcement, fellow celebrities including Angelica Panganiban, Mikael Daez, Rayver Cruz, and Alessandra de Rossi sent their warm congratulations and well wishes to the couple.
Glaiza and David tied the knot in Northern Ireland in 2021 before hosting a second ceremony in the Philippines in 2023. During an appearance on Kring Kim’s Think Talk Tea podcast in 2025, the actress previously expressed her readiness to build a family.
”Gusto ko nang magka-anak. Isa ‘yun sa projects na talagang tinatrabaho namin ngayon ni David,” Glaiza shared at the time.
