South Korean superstar Gong Yoo is officially heading to the Philippines as part of his newly announced “The Long Take” fan meeting tour, his agency, Management SOOP, confirmed.
Aside from Manila, the highly anticipated tour will also feature stops in Seoul, Jakarta, Yokohama, Bangkok, and Macau.
The agency teased the event with the caption, “The journey begins,” sharing the news alongside a handwritten note from the actor himself. In the letter, Gong Yoo poured out his appreciation to his followers, thanking them for their steadfast love and dedication over the years.
Making the announcement even more special, the news dropped on the actor’s 47th birthday, sparking massive excitement among his loyal Filipino fanbase.
Gong Yoo recently delighted fans by reconnecting with his former castmates for the “Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip,” a commemorative show celebrating a decade since the premiere of the mega-hit drama.
The versatile actor has captured global audiences with his standout performances in iconic projects like Coffee Prince, Goblin, Squid Game, and the blockbuster thriller Train to Busan.
Management SOOP has stated that the specific dates, venue locations, and ticket selling schedules for the Manila leg will be released at a later time.
