HOMEOWNERS BLAME NEW HOA FOR RISING CRIMES

Three months after a hostile takeover of the BF Resort Village Talon Homeowners Association Inc. (BFRVTHAI), residents of BF Resort Village (BFRV) are complaining of mounting security issues and a sudden surge in criminal activity due to poor subdivision management.

Homeowners highlighted the new management’s failure to secure the village gates, citing a visible lack of security patrols and slow emergency response times. Residents pointed out that safety protocols have collapsed and guards are nowhere to be found across key areas of BFRV since the new HOA assumed control.

The security lapse led to a major breach at around 3:00 AM on May 24, when six armed robbers broke into a residence along Margie Moran Street. The suspects tied up the victims before fleeing with millions of pesos worth of cash and valuables.

In light of the incident, the subdivision’s previous management, the BFRV Homeowners Association Inc. (BFRVHAI), urged residents to remain vigilant against criminal elements.

”Maging mapagmatyag… tiyaking gumagana ang mga CCTV camera at panatilihing nakabukas ang mga ilaw sa labas ng bahay,” (Be vigilant… ensure that CCTV cameras are working and keep outside lights turned on) the former HOA advised, emphasizing basic safety measures to prevent further break-ins.
