Actress and content creator Ivana Alawi addressed social media backlash regarding a recent relief mission after images and videos circulated showing aid distribution along a flooded road.
Online observers questioned why the distribution occurred in knee-deep water when unflooded pavement appeared nearby, with some raising safety concerns for the waiting residents.
Responding to the criticism, Alawi explained that mechanical trouble forced their vehicle to stall in the inundated area during the drive.
According to Alawi, local residents began forming a line around the immobilized vehicle while the team attempted repairs and looked to move elsewhere.
Closing her response, she urged critics to consider the full circumstances before rushing to judgment over the viral footage.
