LOS ANGELES, California — Filipino-American vocalist Jessica Sanchez is set to receive a major milestone in her music career after being named one of the honorees for the 2026 Asian Hall of Fame.
The singer joins a diverse roster of inductees this year, including BLACKPINK member ROSÉ, as the organization recognizes individuals who have achieved excellence across various sectors, including entertainment, business, sports, technology, and public service.
Established to highlight the contributions of Asian and Native leaders while promoting cross-cultural understanding and collaboration, the Asian Hall of Fame will celebrate its 22nd induction ceremony on November 5 in Los Angeles, California. Proceeds generated from the formal event will directly fund educational scholarships and cultural programs.
Asian Hall of Fame President and CEO Maki Hsieh commended the latest group of honorees, noting the significant impact of their work.
“During times of worldwide conflict, Asian Hall of Fame serves as a beacon of cross-cultural collaboration and interracial synergy,” Hsieh said, as reported by Billboard.
Sanchez first gained global prominence in 2012 as the runner-up on the 11th season of “American Idol,” where Phillip Phillips took the top spot. Over a decade later, she returned to competitive television on the 20th season of “America’s Got Talent,” advancing through the rounds to reach the final stages of the competition.
The award comes as Sanchez continues to strengthen her ties with her fan base in the Philippines. Earlier this year, she held a headlining concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Manila, sharing the stage with several leading Original Pilipino Music (OPM) artists.
This latest distinction marks another high point in Sanchez’s decade-plus career, expanding a journey that started on television into international recording, live touring, and high-profile performances.
