MANILA, Philippines — Following months of social media hints, shared vlogs, and public speculation, singer Kris Lawrence and actress Katrina Halili have officially confirmed their romantic reconciliation.
Lawrence put an end to the rumors on Monday after posting a photo alongside Halili on social media accompanied by a statement.
”KAMI NA!”
He captioned the post with the phrase “New chapter” before elaborating on their renewed bond.
”I told you I gotchu, and I meant that. No need to rush anything…One Step at a Time, enjoying where this takes us.”
Addressing any lingering doubt about their relationship status, Lawrence added another note:
”All I know is I’m happy…KAMI NA bahala where this new chapter takes us.”
The announcement triggered an outpouring of support from fans who had long hoped to see the couple reunite.
The pair previously dated before ending their relationship in 2014, though they remained committed to co-parenting their daughter, Katie, who was born in 2012. Early this year, the two addressed rumors of a reconciliation by clarifying that they were focused strictly on strengthening their bond as parents.
By June, however, Lawrence resumed wooing Halili, a development confirmed during an appearance on the talk show “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”.
Their frequent appearances together online over the following months fueled continuous excitement among followers, culminating in Monday’s confirmation.
