MANILA — Following the overwhelming triumph of their 2025 reunion performances, Norwegian pop duo M2M is officially continuing their musical journey.
Marit Larsen and Marion Ravn are set to embark on a fresh international concert series titled the “TWO” tour, which will include a much-anticipated return to Manila on April 2, 2027, at the Araneta Coliseum.
The upcoming concert announcement comes on the heels of their sold-out debut headlining trek, “The Better Endings Tour,” which drew massive crowds across Asia and international markets, allowing the childhood friends to reconnect with loyal supporters and perform their signature hits. What initially began as a closure-driven project has now evolved into a renewed creative partnership.
Reflecting on their previous success, Larsen shared how the experience went far beyond their expectations.
“The ‘Better Endings’ Tour exceeded our wildest dreams. We had no idea how full those rooms would be, or how natural and beautiful it would feel to get the band back together, hearing thousands of people singing these songs at the top of their lungs,” Larsen said.
“What was dreamt up as just that—a better ending—ended up sparking a whole new thing that we can’t help wanting to investigate further. I think we both knew, sitting on the floor backstage after our last show, that we had to keep going,” she added.
For Ravn, the new phase is a chance to examine the distinct chemistry of their collaboration, bringing mature songwriting perspectives to the table.
“In this new chapter, we dive deeper into what merging two very connected, yet undeniably different souls and songwriters can mean,” she said.
“We continue to bring different elements to the table, as we always have, but it turns out this time around our shared vision keeps pulling us towards each other. There is some magic there.”
The “TWO” global tour will launch in March 2027, featuring scheduled stops in Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Mexico, among other major global cities. For the duo, the upcoming chapter symbolizes a united path forward.
“At last, it feels like we’re writing the rest of our story together, side by side, the TWO of us,” Ravn expressed.
Concert promoter Wilbros Live announced that tickets will officially become available to the public on October 24 at 10 a.m. through TicketNet.com.ph and authorized TicketNet outlets nationwide.
