NOAH WYLE NAMED PEOPLE MAGAZINE’S SEXIEST MAN ALIVE FOR 2026

Actor Noah Wyle recently shared that his initial reaction to being selected as People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2026 was utter disbelief, suspecting someone was pulling his leg.

The 55-year-old lead of the HBO medical drama The Pitt confessed that the recognition came as a complete shock.

“It sounded like a prank,” Wyle stated in his interview with People. “Not in a million years did I think that this would be an honor bestowed on me.”

While maintaining a lighthearted attitude about the milestone, Wyle joked about the potential perks that might accompany his new Hollywood designation.

“I hope this changes everything. I hope it’s just wine and roses, milk and honey from here on out,” he remarked humorously.

Nonetheless, he promptly acknowledged that his inner circle would likely use the title as ammunition for playful teasing rather than treating him like a heartthrob.

Wyle’s newest accolade arrives on the heels of the massive success of The Pitt, where he portrays Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, an emergency room physician in Pittsburgh. His role has already secured him two Emmy Awards for best actor in a drama series, revitalizing a career that first skyrocketed to fame during the 1990s.

Longtime fans will also recognize Wyle from his iconic portrayal of Dr. John Carter in the classic medical series ER, which debuted in 1994.

By capturing the 2026 title, Wyle follows in the footsteps of notable past honorees such as Michael B. Jordan, Idris Elba, John Krasinski, Paul Rudd, and his former ER co-star George Clooney, who has earned the distinction twice.
