OPM BAND CUP OF JOE TO HIT TOKYO STAGE IN JUNE

OPM hitmakers Cup of Joe are taking their music to the international stage as they gear up for a special performance in Japan this coming June.

The Baguio-based pop band announced on Tuesday via their official social media pages that they will be headlining a showcase at the duo MUSIC EXCHANGE venue in Tokyo on June 11.

The highly anticipated show is billed as part of the “Shibuya Sound Scramble,” a curated event under the Music Awards Japan Week Special Live series.

Global Collaborative Stage

The “Multo” hitmakers will not be alone in lighting up the Tokyo venue. Cup of Joe is slated to share the global spotlight with a diverse lineup of Asian artists, including Japanese acts Natsuko Nisshoku and Billyrrom, alongside Indonesian singer-songwriter Hindia.

Tickets for the Shibuya showcase are already available to the public. General admission passes are priced at 5,800 yen, while student discounts are offered at 3,800 yen.

Hometown Stadium Show First

Before flying out to Japan, the breakout Filipino band will first face their massive local fanbase for their biggest solo milestone yet.

Cup of Joe is currently finalizing preparations for “Sandali: The Cup of Joe Fest.” The major stadium concert is scheduled to happen this coming Saturday, May 23, at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bocaue, Bulacan.
