Actor Rommel Padilla publicly backed his younger brother after Locsin criticized the senator’s recent political commentary and his perceived lack of support regarding her previous red-tagging controversies.
On July 16, Rommel shared a viral social media post on Facebook that took aim at the former “Darna” star while shielding Robin from the backlash.
The shared message stated:
“Nag-ingay si Angel Locsin sa issue ni Robin pero tahimik siya sa baha, nakawan at flood control. Angel yung pinagtanggol ni Robin, inelect ng 32M vs pansarili mong issue. Akala ko matalino, pang-Darna ka lang pala talaga. Ding, ang bato.”
