PARAÑAQUE CITY NAMED ONE OF THE COUNTRY’S MOST BUSINESS-FRIENDLY LGUS BY PCCI

PARAÑAQUE CITY — The local government of Parañaque has earned national recognition for its strong economic climate and efficient governance.

The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) has honored Parañaque City as one of the most business-friendly local government units under the City Level 1A Category. The distinction celebrates the city’s continuous push to streamline administrative processes, elevate services for local entrepreneurs, and cultivate a transparent commercial landscape.

Key to this success is the Parañaque Electronic Business One-Stop Shop (eBOSS), an automated digital system managed by the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) under the leadership of Atty. Melanie Soriano Malaya, which significantly accelerates permit applications.

Mayor Edwin Olivarez expressed gratitude for the accolade, attributing the milestone to the shared dedication of the local administration and its constituents in building a thriving investment hub.

“The recognition reflects the collective efforts of the city government and residents in fostering growth and investment,” Olivarez stated.

He further emphasized that drawing external capital is essential for creating sustainable employment and livelihood programs for local families.

Moving forward, Olivarez pledged to sustain initiatives that champion entrepreneurship and broaden economic pathways across the city.
