President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. conducted a site inspection of the newly completed Pampanga Provincial Hospital–Clark (PPH-Clark) on Thursday, May 14, marking a significant milestone for healthcare accessibility in Central Luzon.
The facility, situated at Changi Gateway within Clark Global City, is the first-ever government hospital established inside the Clark Freeport Zone. It is designed to cater to a massive population of over 151,500 employees, investors, and business locators operating within the economic hub.

The ₱601.74 million project was made possible through a collaborative funding effort:
- Provincial Government of Pampanga: \text{₱246.86} million
- Department of Health (DOH): \text{₱210} million
- PAGCOR: \text{₱100} million
- BCDA: \text{₱44.88} million (allocated for accessibility improvements)
The three-storey hospital sits on a 9,259-square-meter lot provided via a usufruct agreement with the Clark Development Corporation. Built to Level II DOH standards, the facility boasts a 143-bed capacity—including private rooms and wards—and is outfitted with advanced diagnostic tools such as CT scanners, endoscopy systems, and mammography equipment.

Beyond medical care, the provincial government expects the hospital to be a driver of local livelihood once it reaches full operational status.
”Once fully operational, PPH-Clark is projected to create around 401 employment opportunities for Kapampangans.”
The hospital is currently seeking accreditation as a PhilHealth YAKAP facility and will offer specialized services including ICU, NICU, and OB-GYNE, alongside comprehensive dental and cardiovascular departments.
