QC GOV’T OPENS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS FOR BATCH 2026–2027

The Quezon City Government officially opened applications for its 2026–2027 scholarship program on Monday, urging student applicants to prepare their documentary requirements ahead of the designated online filing window.

The application period will run from May 25 to June 5, 2026. Aspiring scholars may submit their applications on weekdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., via the city’s official e-services portal at qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph. The website will handle all registrations and document uploads.

To qualify, applicants must provide a verified QCitizen ID, a copy of their report card or transcript of records from the previous school year, and formal proof of enrollment, registration, or acceptance for the current academic term. In addition to paper requirements, the city government has integrated a recorded video interview into the screening process.

According to the city’s advisory posted on its official Facebook page, extra requirements may be requested depending on the specific scholarship category chosen by the student.

To assist applicants with the digital interview format, the local government has published an online instructional video accessible at tiny.cc.

Unregistered residents are advised to secure their QCitizen ID through the e-services portal prior to applying. Existing ID holders may verify their account status through the same website or via the designated verification link on the city’s Facebook page.

The local government emphasized that it will enforce a strict deadline, warning that incomplete applications or late submissions will not be processed. Meanwhile, students enrolled at Quezon City University (QCU) were advised to wait for a separate set of guidelines and schedules tailored specifically to their institution.
