QUEZON CITY PARTNERS WITH BELL-KENZ PHARMA FOR LIFE-SAVING CPR CAMPAIGN

Quezon City has become the first local government unit in Metro Manila to adopt Bell-Kenz Pharma’s flagship Sagip CPR campaign, a collaborative effort aimed at bringing vital emergency response skills to everyday citizens.

The partnership, formalized through the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (QCDRRMO), kicked off with a mass training session focused on Hands-Only CPR and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED).

The initiative seeks to empower residents to intervene effectively during sudden cardiac arrests, boosting survival rates while professional medical teams are en route.

The program aligns with Bell-Kenz Pharma’s 20th anniversary milestone, highlighting its shift toward community-based preventive healthcare and disaster readiness alongside its core pharmaceutical services.

”Our partnership with the Quezon City Government reflects the city’s proactive leadership in advancing disaster preparedness and public health,” said Patrick Larraga, Corporate Branding and Public Affairs Head of Bell-Kenz Pharma. “We are honored to welcome Quezon City as our first LGU partner in Metro Manila under the Sagip CPR campaign. Together, we are equipping more Filipinos with the skills and confidence to act during emergencies and ultimately save more lives.”

QCDRRMO head Bianca Perez welcomed the initiative, noting that embedding CPR and AED education into local disaster programs is central to the city’s long-term strategy for public safety and community resilience.

Bell-Kenz Pharma plans to scale the initiative nationwide by securing more institutional and local government partnerships. More details about the advocacy can be found on their official website at www.bell-kenz.net.
