Residents of BF Resort Village have strongly criticized the newly formed BF Resort Village Talon Homeowners Association Inc. (BFRVTHAI) following its announcement that vehicle stickers from the previous association will be invalidated starting August 1.
According to the new rules implemented by BFRVTHAI, homeowners utilizing 2026 stickers distributed by the now-dissolved BF Resort Village Homeowners Association Inc. (BFRVHAI) will deal with strict entry and exit limitations within the neighborhood.
Key restrictions include barring these vehicles from using the exclusive “BFRV Sticker Lane” located at Gate 1 along Ceciles Casimiro and Gate 11 near the Onelia Jose–Cavite Bridge.
The unexpected policy shift has caused widespread frustration among community members, many of whom pointed out that they had already settled their annual association dues with the prior leadership. These advanced payments explicitly covered the costs of their current vehicle stickers.
Disgruntled homeowners expressed confusion over why the newly established organization refuses to honor permits that were already fully funded under the previous administration.
BFRVTHAI, which currently operates as the official homeowners’ association for the subdivision, recorded 877 registered members as of April 30.
This current membership pool marks a steep drop from the estimated 10,000 households that were originally part of the defunct BFRVHAI.
